Normally yes. Double click on your My Documents folder. It's common for the computer to use this location.

Yes, more than likely.
The hard disk drive is the main storage medium in any computer. In the Microsoft Windows operating system, the "C:" partition is generally the first partition on the first hard disk drive. So, if you saved to somewhere like "C:\My Documents", then you saved onto the hard disk.
If you are using Mac OS X, the Desktop is normally chosen as the default save location. If you saved the file here then it is also on your hard disk drive.
You can also save to removable devices.

The first three answers are terrible!
When you clicked save it will save it in the same place that it got it from. If you opened it from a flash drive or a floppy it will be saved back there.
You should take control of where you want to save things. Click 'save as' and you'll get more choices. That will pop up another menu that will allow you to decide where you want it. You can also change its name and file type. I recommend using this feature when you want to save.

Please give your computer to someone else...Just turn it off....(The Dialog box opens and you have the option to open or save...save to location desktop and from there move..thats what i would suggest after you virus scan it.....or click "browse" > My Computer > then C:\ and then you'll have it saved to the C:\ )
