my asus mobo is defective 6 months old..it is defective from the first day...i contacted seller 45 days ago..now they r sayin ur mobo is outdated ..no stock of tht mobo..

I play alot of multi player games online(shadowbane ,cs) and every few minutes my sound will stop working. we have tried everything we can think of and replaced the hard drive but nothing seems to be working. it will stop working and wont work again untill i reboot, then its fine for a few min. and stops again...anyone have any idea?

Has anyone made the switch and how do you like it. I have only went to the apple store and tried to mess around with the computer and it seemed user friendly but I would like some feedback. I am also going to school soon for graphic design and I am told that most graphic designers work on MAC's. Thanks!

I bought this dual processor Pentium III slot 1 motherboard since it's kind of odd and would look neat in a windowed case...

Anyways, it is actually cheaper nowadays to buy a Pentium III slot 1 processor with a FSB of 133 mhz instead of 100 mhz.

I'm wondering if it's possible to use a 133 mhz Pentium III processor in that motherboard,
if so will it work at it's proper clock speed,
and will it affect the RAM.

It worked yesturday and today it doesnt work. For example if i hit one of the numbers and the shift key at the same time it usually makes a symbol. (ie. i hit key the number 2 and shift at the same time and it sohuld make this @) but now its not working. if i hit the 2 key and shift at the same time...it just does a 2. did i do something that made this happen? I think i probably did as iam computer incompetent. could somebody pleeeeease help me, i would be super grateful. i have a term paper due, and it will be very frustrating. thanks so much.

I'm looking to sell my old computer (just the tower) and maximize profit on it. It's a Dell computer, about four years old. It has a Pentium 4 2.19 Ghz processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a 27.9 GB hard drive, all in good condition.

Is it worth more wholesale or if I sell it part by part?

I got a hard-drive, added as a slave, right-click on it and formatted it deleting all data on it. Now I'm not able to use it because I don't find a way to open it.
I 've tried it as a master, slave but it seems like there's no way to get on it.
The reason of doing this was to make both drives (old & new) one single drive. How do I do that?

I'm using an hp deskjet 920c printer. It was doing fine printing until it ran out of ink, so I purchased a refill kit. I refilled the color and the black and it was fine. Then the yellow stopped printing, so I put more ink in the color printer cartridge. Then I noticed that even with lots of yellow ink, it still won't print yellow. Any ideas on why that is? I followed the directions carefully and put yellow in the appropriate place on the cartridge. The black and other two colors print fine.
