ive got the microphone plugged into my computer, but i cant seem to get it to work with anything. Any suggestions?

i checked and the volume is at max

what kind of mic is it if you just got a logitec one ive had the same problem with mine u have to get it realy realy realy close to the sound source and even then its hard to get it to work...i just went out and bought a different one not logitec and it works perfectly

check your audio properties, make sure it's turned up and not muted.
