Do i need iSight for iChat? or can i buy any web cam and use it?

im thinking about getting a mac mini but want to use the ichat feature. can i buy some third party web cam from the store and use it?

check with ichat
see what webcams they support
isight would be the best cause ichat and isight match but check u could save money by getting a different one

yes, you can. You may need the Macam drivers for it, though. They're free, and all ya have to do is google Macam, and *poof*.

yes, you can. just make sure its mac compatible or download a

mac driver for whichever one you buy if its not.
