I got a hard-drive, added as a slave, right-click on it and formatted it deleting all data on it. Now I'm not able to use it because I don't find a way to open it.
I 've tried it as a master, slave but it seems like there's no way to get on it.
The reason of doing this was to make both drives (old & new) one single drive. How do I do that?
Thanks in advance to anyone who's able to give me the steps to follow.

If you right clicked on it and formatted it, then it works, (it must have been installed as a slave at that point) also if you did that then you must have an operating system, because a right click in DOS does nothing.
Hook it up as a slave and use it.
You cannot right click on a primary hard drive that contains your operating system and format. Windows cannot format itself, that is impossible.
I don't know what you mean, you cannot find a way to open it, it must show up in MY COMPUTER, or how did you find it to format it? You cannot format something you cannot see.

You can increase the RAM capacity if your computer mother board has the provision. I can give you a link that deals with hard drive problems. Some RAM/hard drive problems can be easily fixed yourself by using easily available tools. I found the info at http://fixit.in useful. Try this site, if you can get what is required.

The reason you can't get on it, is because you need to reinstall a windows program. Its like a box with nothing in it, until you put brains in, it won't work.
Load your windows disk and turn it on. Computer will do everything else and prompt you when it needs human input.

Good luck
