I'm using an hp deskjet 920c printer. It was doing fine printing until it ran out of ink, so I purchased a refill kit. I refilled the color and the black and it was fine. Then the yellow stopped printing, so I put more ink in the color printer cartridge. Then I noticed that even with lots of yellow ink, it still won't print yellow. Any ideas on why that is? I followed the directions carefully and put yellow in the appropriate place on the cartridge. The black and other two colors print fine.

Run your finger over the yellow and see if you get any on your finger. Do it gently. If you do not get yellow on you, your print head is dry.
Run a print test on you printer, see if it runs the yellow. When you do the test, each color has to perform. If it doesn't perform, then you need to go to HP and see what they recommend to remoisten the head.
Hope this helps!

First try using the printer software to do a thorough cleaning of the cartridges and print-head. If the result still doesn't show yellow, then you'll have to purdhase replacement cartridges. Good luck.

the nozzle of the cartridge is clogged. run "clean print nozzle" to clean it. if it still do not help. Try clean it by dip it into a glass of water (not hot) for a while say 30 secs. If still won't do, the cartridge is gone, buy a new cartridge and never use the same brand of refil you bought again.

For the HP 920c
buy your refills from ABC Inks NY
That particular cartridge is tricky.

The only thing I could suggest is you buy an actual replacement cartridge and see if that works. If it does, then the refill is the problem. I'm guessing that if you do buy a real replacement cartridge, it will work.
