whenever i put an original dvd in my sons pc,it wont play and tells me that the tv out port on my graphics card is enabled so it cant play copy protected discs.it'll play copies though.how do you change the graphics card so it doesnt do this?thanks....

i love my traditional little mouse but hate my keyboard mouse pad.
i am using a basic laptop (fujitsu seimens) i use micosoft blahblahblah and i have tried going through control panel and uninstalling it. I hate it so much why wont it go away????? I know its possible as my mate did it for me before, but he's not here now. i managed to re instal it by going into update driver or something to take it away for xmas but now its back i can't get rid of the thing!!!!

i have not downloaded any new software. I had the same problem 6 months ago and i got my mother board changed. recently, the same problem has reoccured. it doesnt shut off immediately but after using the pc for sometime.

Just formatted my laptop, then i noticed that the hardware driver cd that came from the dealer of my laptop was full of scratch. First I was able to install some drivers and programs, but then suddenly my laptop can't detect the dvd r-w of my laptop. When i checked the device manager it says my DVD R-W is corrupted, tried troubleshooting it but no luck it did not worked. tried reinstalling the driver but it seems the hardware CD that came with the laptop is CORRUPTED too. cant find any drivers in the internet... what should I do?? the store where I bought my laptop closed last year ago... what shoul I do?? im desperately in need of help >.<

I'll shortly be getting a new laptop to replace one I've had a couple of years, both are running WinXP. I want to transfer all of my applications and data to the new laptop without having to reinstall and reconfigure everything. Is there a way to migrate all the data? I have a backup drive and I thought of taking a drive image from the old laptop and copying it to the new laptop, but I don't know if there will be any issues due to the fact the hardware on both is completely different. Will XP work out its on different hardware on startup and find the correct hardware drivers itself??

It's fairly new and happens everytime I reinstall windows xp. I send it for repair but they test it and tell me they can't find a problem. Any ideas what it could be so I can tell the technicians.

I brought my computer second-hand and it has lot's of files and programs on it and I don't know what some are, I keep getting different messages being displayed on my screen and i dont know what some mean it's driving me crazy!!!
How am I able to restore it back to the computer original settings, I never got any disc with it either!

my computer is dell and is running windows 2000, I do have a emachine xp restore disc would I be able to use this or should I just get one for dell, if so where could i get one?

I've been searching for a 98 driver for a Wise 128M mp3 player without any success. The firmware is SD5482 v1.3 11/15/05.

I can't find Wise anywhere and they're not registered with FCC. I have been unable to find any sort of generic. MS Media Player says it needs a usb 2.0 (FS) Flash Disk SP.

Found a lot of 98 users looking for mp3 drivers … sup with that?

Hey guys, happy new year to all and hope the new year finds you and all you care about well. I'm having problems with my display, I'm getting grainy lines running horizontally and vertically on my screen and I can't figure out why. It goes when I restart the machine but they quickly appear and get worse the more I use the PC. It's very strange, I swapped monitors and it's not that, I can't figure out what it is to be honest. Any ideas guys? It must be something in XP I suppose. Thanks very much dudes, keep it real and all the best.

I have been for at least 2 years now waking with ,my hair wet under and my nite shirt wet .Im 42 having my periods every month but very heavy ,Been to doctor they say im 10 years away from the change ,ok then what do you think is going on ?This makes me very unhappy waking like this ,and I have been dehydrated lately anyway ,shirt being his wet worse than a major work out ,Help Please any advise ?

My printer keeps saying it's paper jammed...even though there was no paper in it at the time it started doing it. Ive tried lifting the scanner compartment to check for blockages and everything but it's still doing it. I rely on my printer for work. Any suggestions???
