i love my traditional little mouse but hate my keyboard mouse pad.
i am using a basic laptop (fujitsu seimens) i use micosoft blahblahblah and i have tried going through control panel and uninstalling it. I hate it so much why wont it go away????? I know its possible as my mate did it for me before, but he's not here now. i managed to re instal it by going into update driver or something to take it away for xmas but now its back i can't get rid of the thing!!!!

Might try going into bios. Restart, F2(or delete, depends on computer), then should say touchpad somewhere in there. Mine has a button between the letters of the keyboard that you push. Look for something like that on yours. Ya never know. Good luck!

You should be able to use the control panel under the start button to modify your settings. If you have the keyboard that you are using installed as the particular brand and model instead of a generic plug and play keyboard it should have tabs to modify the specific settings of your keyboard.

You should be able to disable it from the bios menu. If you do it that way the computer will only disable it when it detects an external mouse. To get to the bios menu depending on the brand. Pres F2 or Del within 2 seconds of boot up.

If you mean your touchpad, go to the Mouse settings under control panel, and you can actually uncheck the touchpad option.
If that fails or is not available, then download the mouse driver, the most recent, and then set it the way you want after deleting the whole touchpad thing.
