I need a driver for an internal cd drive for my gateway notebook. I am running XP and my drive is a tsstcorp ts-l426. Any help would be appreciated!

I have one of the older type of monitors, the big boxy ones not an LCD, and after it has been on for about half an hour everything on the screen becomes blurred and impossible to read. Does anyone know what could be wrong and how to fix it? Thanks : )

It's making these really odd grinding noises like somethings stuck in it -- but theres nothing but dust. I've tried cleaning it out however its still not working. Now, I turn on the computer and it works for about 5 minutes and then shuts down and the fan isn't working all together.

[No, I didn't take apart the computer to check the problem/clean it. I blew at it to remove dust and a good amount came out..]

She has her laptop hooked up to a larger flat screen monitor so she can see the screen better...it is also going through a docking thing that the laptop sits on...the wallpaper shows up on the other screen but not the pointer or the icons...any advice?

i bought a samsung 19 inch synmaster lcd monitor it was cheaper then the 17 inc it was on sale but i think a 19 inch is to big is it bad for the eyes.. the 17 inch one costs moore to so i,m doing pros and cons why i should take back my 19 and why i shouldnt.

I bought my laptop about 2 weeks ago and i'm starting to experience difficulties with it's performance. Its a Packard Bell Easy note MZ35 . Everytime i watch a video or streaming online its freezes or stops, What's wrong with it?

ok, its another guy who knows nothing about computers asking about computers.

Let's say I get an HP computer (don't diss HP 'cause I like 'em). It comes with 2 Gigs of memory (1GB x2). I'm totally cool with only haveing 2 gigs of memory, and I don't NEED more, but what can it hurt?
So, the memory it comes with is PC-4200, but the system also accepts PC-5300.
It only accepts memory in pairs, but there are 2 slots left so I'm good. If I get another pair of memory thingys can I get 5300 and the fact I have 2 5300s and 2 4200s is fine and everything will work all right, or am I wrong?
Also; I can get 2x 1GB DDR2 SDRAM 5300 for $170
Or; I could get 2x 1GB DDR2 SDRAM 4200 for $200
My first reaction is to go with the less expensive one (PC-5300), but if my computer will not accept it then Ill spend the extra money.

basically; Can I have a pair of PC4200 and a pair of PC5300 in the same computer (assuming the system accepts both types)?

(A1640N is the model)

I have a question about the Razer Diamondback gaming mouse, specifically the Chameleon Green version.

I bought one for my mother because her her computer peripherals are all green, but now I am concerned becauseI have found dozens of websites with photos, but I still cannot tell whether the LED lights are green or not! I know that the chameleon green refers to the chassis paint.

Does anyone know for sure what color the LEDs are for this mouse?

The contrast of my laptop got really dark and I can't change it. I closed the top of it to protect it from my dogs when they were running by. It's so dark i can only see a limited amout of things. I can't see my cursor too. I doubt that it is a virus( my dad said so) and that it has to do with something that i did. It's a hp 2001. HELP!
