my computer was runing fine, for a while. i had no problems with it at all. i just recently got it back from my family and i noticed that when ever i try to play music or video's. it gets laggy and cuts off and werid noises come out of the speakers. and the video stops? i was wondering what could this be? at first i thought it was spyware adware etc. but i removed everything from my computer by re-formating it. i thought that would fix the problem but that was not so. but how ever i did notice when i would uninstall the graphics card. and use the mother board grpahics the computer would work just fine playing music and i could watch movies. but when i re-install it the graphics card it goes back to laging. could i please get help asap.

On my Dell laptop there's a slot above the hard drive and I don't know what it's for. Does anyone know? It's a Dell M1210. Right above the hard drive is a slot that doesn't fit a Cardbus PC card.

Is there anyway to upgrade graphics card for a notebook? I know you can't open it up and add another graphics chip. Is there any graphics card i can add via ADVANCED PC CARD SLOT (if not presently, then in the future)?

And also is it possible go into the bios and increase the amount of ram for a Intel GMA 950?

Is the amount of ram bottlenecked the most by the bus, the board, the space confines, or the operating system?
