HP cart's don't have chips. Instead it has a complicated series of air bleeding valves in the cart that can really mess up your printer if not done properly.

Any refill kit would have proper instructions. Available at almost any Office superstore, or even some Walgreens pharmacies.

Harming your printer... only if you refill it wrong, and it starts leaking all over your printer.

i fill up carts continually. some artwork and some do no longer. i purchase ink it truly is man made to the specifications of the unique. each so often the patron does no longer take the mandatory precautions to guard the printhead for refilling, it truly is why some do no longer artwork. once the patron is knowledgeable on a thanks to guard the cartridge and the printhead, then theirs have a extra useful fulfillment fee. on the generating plant, the ink is inserted into the cartridge and then the lid is glued on. a number of those cartridges were bougt back and are being refilled, some are new. with lexmark cartridges, you pop the great to fill up the coloration and on the black, you in reality favor to make larger the vent hollow to insert a syringe of ink. similar on the more recent variations of HP. besides the undeniable fact that, on the older variations of HP you should maintain rigidity, by eliminating any extra air. there are particular equipment you should purchase to attempt this. so some distance as insects . . . I even do not understand what you mean. sorry. wish that permits.

I highly suggest you don’t refill your cartridge. I've done it before and did not have a positive result. First, the quality of the print is extremely low; a lot of smudges. Second, it's a waste of money and time and lets not forget the inevitable mess.
