on my touch pad on my laptop is fine but whwn i plug a mouse in the buttons get switched! left is like right(opens menus n stuff) i changed it back to the reg. way but its still screwed up plz help!

If you're using Windows XP, go to START > CONTROL PANEL > MOUSE > BUTTONS.

Go to the control panel, click on "mouse" find a box that says "reverse mouse buttons" uncheck it.

Your computer settings have somehow defined a left-handed mouse.

Go to CONTROL PANEL --- MOUSE, and change the mouse back to a right handed mouse.

Very simple.

You can configure which side you want to use as "right or left" click by going to control panel, click on "mouse", then take it from there to configure it how you want it.

go to start/programs/control panel/mouse. you can switch the buttons...

Then, the wiring must be reversed. try a different mouse.
