What are the differences and any advantages or disadvantages? Noticed that Quick is a bit quicker, but not that much. Thank you.

Also too not all of the files have to be NTFS format, if you want to you can leave some files FAT32 (so they can be used for friends or people that you deal with that are still in Windows 98). But the overall question is that there is much greater security with NTFS then with FAT32.

To get back to your question a format with NTFS wipes out any information on the disk. Where as a quick NTFS format only adds a an "*" to the beginning of file name tell NTFS to go ahead and reuse the space to store something else.

a NTFS full format.... formats the full hard dive and also checks for bad sectors on the drive, the quick NTFS only formats the MBS master boot sector,

Quick formatting works just as well for FAT, FAT32, or NTFS. What you should be asking is, "Does NTFS have any advantages over FAT32" and, Yes, it does. Higher security, better data management.
