I have a Toshiba Satellite Tablet PC and the dirt can't be wiped off because it's on the underside of the glass. I'm afraid to remove the glass for fear that it will ruin the tablet. I'm desperate for a way to clean it, because the dirt is right in the middle of the screen, and being a digital artist that needs a clean screen to draw on, it's driving me nuts! Is there anything anyone can do to help?

Well anyone interested in the computers I am trying to sell, then let me know, but only if your serious. I posted a question earlier today and got a bogus answer from some little kid. I guess 12 yr olds could be playing around thinking they are cool. Anyway I do have 2 computers that I need to sell. One is brand new and one I bought 4 months ago. Also one came with a monitor, and the brand new one didn't. It has the tower keyboard and mouse. So if anyone is interested but for real, then let me know and I can email you or we could chat so I can give you all the details. thanks very much appreciated.

Some people tell me that sometimes what is written on the power supply box is not real ... like a power supply stating that it's 450W but in fact it's 350W or 300W ... and what's the meaning by "a motherboard needs at least a power supply with 350W and 12V/18A" ??? how can i know if it's really 12 Volts and 18 Amperes at least ??? and where is that data located on the power supply ? cause there is so many data like the +12V , -12V , +5V , -5V , 3.3V and what does those represent ? i know it's so many questions in one .. but i badly need the right information cuz i'm up to buy a new PC ... Thanks !!!

I've got this video card on my laptop:
Geforce GO 6150

This laptop:
Turion 64 X2 1.6ghz - with 1gig ram

How do I dedicate the full 256MB required to this video card? I heard it can be done, but how?

CS 1.6 runs like crap! I want it to run at least good!

I would like to get any of my Macs (a PowerBook G4 or Mac mini) to hook up to my Philips 30PW8402/37B HDTV, but there doesn't seem to be any success reports online. Apparently, you can use DisplayConfigX software to make your Mac output video from its DVI port appropriate for your TV, but I can't seem to get the settings right... i.e. the resolution seems very fuzzy, and I can't read text smaller than 48-60 points... also, tops or sides of the screen are cropped.

I am using a DVI-to-HDMI cable between the Mac and the TV (i.e. DVI-out on the Mac to HDMI-in on the TV).

Has anyone been able to make this TV work as a display for the Mac? If so, can you share your settings/configuration?

here's the specs: Intel Pentium 4 Processor 531 with Hyper-Threading Technology Operates at 3.00GHz 1 MB L2 Cache 800MHz FSB
Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005
19" Widescreen LCD Display (E19T5)
ATI Radeon Xpress 200 Chipset
ATI Radeon Xpress 200 Integrated Graphics (PCI-Express slot available)
512MB DDR2 Memory (Expandable to 2GB)

DVD+/-RW 16x Multi-Format Dual Layer Optical Drive
9-in-1 Digital Media Manager

I read some reviews but its all mombo-jombo to me. I'll be using the computer mostly for online gaming (CoH, CoV, WoW, EVEonline). So, I'm thinking I want the best frame rates possible.

Thanx for you replies.

I connect my laptop to my TV with a S-Video to Scart cable, but the screen only shows images in B & W, why?

Should I amend any settings on my laptop or is the cable faulty?

My friend's cable did work (show colours on TV) when he teach me to use S-Video cable.

Hey there.

I've got a HP dv2125nr notebook with a crappy Geforce Go 6150 video card. The laptop has very good specifications but the video card is below par!

Is there a way that I can upgrade the video card (on this laptop) and replace it with a better one? Or, is there any firewire external video cards that will support ATI/Nvidia cards? I'm at this point desperate! I will fork out any amount of money so that I can get this to play games well!

My hard drive recently crashed and I had to have a new one installed. I lost all of my information and had to reload all programs. I am having problems re-installing my HP printer. I have used the disk which came with the printer and also tried to download it from the internet. Any ideas on how to get it reinstalled? (The printer is a 3-in-1 and the copier works so I know the problem is not the printer). Thanks!

Everytime I scan in a photo, the photo of it on the computer is full of spots and I have to clean up the image with Photoshop. I doubt water would work, but what are some ways to clean the scanner so it's free of dust?
