How do I distinguish how fast an amd processor is I distinguished the intel by the numbers 1.83ghz 2.0 ghz etc. how is it for amd ?

They have numbers in there name such as 3800+ or 5000+, anyway that is basically their Intel equivalent, so that is how you compare speeds.

These tyhings are getting trickier all the time with dual cores etc....To be honest the easiest way is to jsut go on prices from the same retailer.....

THe bigger price = better cpu
