i am trying to setup imagerunner 2200 to use ltrr type paper but it only accepts stmt

I sent my laptop in for repairs. When I got it back my internal speakers no longer work. I checked the volume, up all the way. Headphones DO WORK, so I think my jumper came off but I don't know where to find this on the mother board. Any ideas?

My hard disk lately make unusual sound. The sound get louder when i use the computer more. I wonder is sign of sth wrong with my hard drive or is there any other possiblity?

My old computer speakers don't work anymore, but I do have a pair of speakers which plug into headphone jacks. I tried plugging them into the green speaker port and I got no sound. My CDRW drive has a headphone jack but I got no results with that either. Is there a special adapter I can buy for it? Thanks.

COOL SAVINGS told me on 8/5/06 that I had won a laptop computer from them. I was reading my e-mail on yahoo and they said I was the nth person to hit on their site. But 1st would I please do a survey. I though fair is fair, I try to live an honest life and am guided by integrity. For 2 hour I thoughtfully answered all their survey questions. I even made 2 purchases. Those thieves disappeared after the final question was answered and I have not heard from them since. I have been in contact with a local Philadelphia news station (major network) and they ae going to start an investigation. They will feature Cool Savings and other offers like the one the I was the victim of. Their consumer affairs reporter is enthusiastic about it. I have since asked Cool savings to make amends and they ignore my request and still send me their crap. As a search engine (my favorite) I feel you are somewhat responsible for allowing them to lie to people and when I ask for them to never send me e-mail.

okay i have a sony vaio and i rebooted my computer back to the way it was when i bought it (losing everything).... i dont have a recovery disk, but the sony vaio support line told me how to do it. they arent open at the moment and i cant remember how to do it! i remember starting my computer and pressing F1 or F2 i cant remember and after that i have NO CLUE what to do next! I dont mind losing all of my information, there's nothing much on my computer that really needs to be saved.... can anyone help?

I have a Dell Dimension Pentium 4 at 2.6ghz is it possible to replace the motherboard? Can I find a motheroard that will fit a 2 year old Dell and can support a VIIV Dual Core Processor? If so, how do I know which motherboard to look for and where could I get it?

I'm not sure if anyone can help me with this, I've been researching for several months and have come up with zilch, but I thought I'd give this a shot.
Whenever I turn on my computer (Toshiba Laptop 2535CDS) Win98SE I automatically get a screen that says running Microsoft Registry Checker. It gets past the first screen and then to the system.dat blue screen and nothing. It will not load windows and freezes there.
I have gone into safe mode and disabled the option at startup, I have lowered the memory to 16mb. I have gone into the prompt and tried to do the smartdrv, but nothing. I get the Himem.sys is not loaded. Check the Config.sys file for a device=himem.sys. I tried loading directly from the disc that came with the laptop, but it does nothing. I made a WIN98 boot disk and that did not work either. I even tried installing a new OS and it wouldn’t let me. Anyway, I would REALLY appreciate any help with this.
ps. I know I need a new computer, but I need help fixing this one

This is my last Macbook question I'm asking, since I'm getting it this week. But I need one more expert opinion, since I've gotten great feedback on the Macbook, OS X browsers and the Leopard in previous weeks. Since there's so many decisions to make, from prices $1100- $2500, monitor sizes 13" - 17", colors black /white, and the computer itself, I can't decide. So I'm asking you to give me full details on what you recommend for me, MacBook or MacBook Pro? Any pros/ cons, advantages/disadvantages? The difference between the two? Whoever gives me the most information gets 10 points for Best Answer, and the computer with the most votes wins and help me decide this week. I've realized this has been asked for.

Plus, when talking to Apple Support this weekend on my Netscape problems, they've recommended me to get the External Firewire Enclosure? Does anyone know what this is and how I would benefit from it? I know you have to pay extra for it. I have an External Disk Drive. Is that enough?

I've heard things about physics processing units in computers, plus i know that Alienware lists them as an option in their higher end desktops and i was considering getting one for my homebuilt computer. I just need to know what specifications are needed on the software side, along with what type of bus/motherboards they are compatible with. In addition: does anyone know where you can buy one besides ebay? I've seen a couple of auctions for them but havent been able to find them in a retail place or website (like Newegg)

i bought an emachines last month at compusa. How come it doesn't come with a windows XP CD in case my PC needs a windows xp cd if i install new drivers or hardware? all it came with was a CD titled
"restore". does this mean i need to buy windows xp at retail price?

When I print, my printer doesn't just take one piece of paper at a time, it takes 5 or more. So when I print I have to acutally put one piece of paper in the printer at a time. I shouldn't have to do that!! It is 2006!!!!

Trying to figure out how to speed this sysytem up. I tried stopping all programs from start up but it just seems to slow the system even more and now i am just trying to get it back to what it was. Any suggestions? main problem is that programs keep freezing up, i.e. IE, messengers and the like. I am tired of the problems on this computer. My other comp works fine and speed is great but this one just slows even more with each day that passes.
