We have a server which died (bad motherboard). We purchased a Mac Mini. The old server drive was SCSI. The Mac Mini has no SCSI ribbon, but does have a USB port. What do I need to connect the old SCSI as an external drive to the USB port and retrieve the data?

Hi, I'm trying to help my father here. He uses a VPN for work and does everything through the work server, including private letters. He now needs to copy his work to a USB flash drive, however the PC, although it did acknowledge the flash drive as new hardware, doesn't display local drives when connected to the VPN. I know it can be done as previously he was able to use a local printer. Using XP. Any help very much appreciated.

I know nothing about wireless internet so my question may not be very clear. I have a desktop and a laptop and I have an ATT modem. I'm trying to add wireless internet to my laptop but keep the desktop hooked up the wires. Is there a way to hook a wireless router to the att modem. If not please explain a way for me to use both my desktop and my laptop and the things I need to buy for wireless internet to work. Thanx

Sky is still the best for Digital Television. Also does anyone think Virgin Media are worth having for TV,Internet,Broadband.I've heard so many bad reports on Virgin Media, and that their Sales reps are extremely pushy in trying to get you to sign up and agree to having Virgin Media. We've had reps call on us,trying to get a sale, and when you say no they get rather forceful and nasty.Anyone else had this problem with Virgin reps?Hazel,West Midlands,United Kingdom

We already have 2 PC's connected to the internet via the wireless router and have now got a new laptop. I think I have connected to the wireless network but it is saying it is "acquiring network address" and I cannot get on the internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Liam

All of your corporate servers have static IP addresses. Some users on your network are complaining that they cannot contact a server named Server 2, which was recently added to the network. You check the TCP/IP configuration on Server 2 and notice the following:

Connection-specific DNS suffix:
IP Address 192.168.64.100
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway 192.168.79.1

You notice that the subnet mask value is incorrect. Which of the following mask values would be correct?

A) 255.255.252.0
B) 255.255.254.0
C) 255.255.248.0
D) 255.255.224.0

I am not sure where to start on this. I have several other questions similar to this. What would be the answer and why?

Just recently, I've decided to change my major to Information Technology. I've heard that Southeastern Louisiana (4 year institution) has a great IT program. However, that'll extend my program to 2 more years.

Now, University of Phoenix allows me to earn my B.S degree in 2 years. Do you feel that this is credible and will benefit me at all? I know someone who's getting their Bachelor's from Phoenix, but I know that most employers don't receive degrees from Phoenix (online) as they will from a 4 year institution. How would you feel if you had to choose between the 2 colleges?
