Is there a way that I can sync my upstairs computer and my downstairs computer to share the files on a folder?


i.e changing a file in a folder on the downstairs computer & seeing its changes on the upstairs computer

I installed a kerio firewall, ad-aware SE, Spybot, AVG anti-virus & ccleaner, now some OUT GOING emails are returning or showing blocked by the recipients (although the recipeints never blocked them). Is it possible any of the above program installation is responsible for doing so or is there some other problem.

PS: I am sending emails from my company's websites.

Recently, we replied to our customers emails, through our website, which are getting automatically returned (bounce). Sometimes, we get a reply that we have been blocked by the user, although when we inquired from our old clients personally, they say that they have never blocked us ! (we believe them as blocking us is not in their best interest, moreover they are doing business with us since past many years)
We have been using our website to send emails, since past many years to the same customers, without any trouble but now this issue is irritating. What can be wrong ? I'd appreciate if this question is answered by some professional in this field.

I have a rented cable modem with one ethernet connector and one USB connector. Someone gave me a wireless router that has only ethernet connectors. Can I connect the modem to my main PC via the USB or do I have to use the ethernet, because if I do, I can't use the router. I would just try it, the the router has a giant sticker that says don't connect until you walk through the installation disk. Oh, and that program says it can't detect an internet connection, but here I am on Yahoo, so that works. Obviously I have two seperate issues.

I want to ask that two PCs are connected with network. A folder is on sharing contains 4 files. I make changes in file 1 of folder from PC1, copy this file and past it at PC2 through networking. Is this method is best or I should delete that file from PC2 shared folder and then paste the latest updated file from PC1 to PC2 through networking? Please inform me clearly about it.

Just set up my linksys wireless router. got everything setup, no problem. I can connect to the internet on the computer its set to, plus on my laptop using wireless, great. but when i log on to my router, go to wireless security, select wep, set a 5 character password and generate a key and save the settings, i cant connect using my laptop. it asks for the password and when i type it in, nothing happens. whats the problem?

I have had all sorts of advise, but nothing seems to work. I am starting to think that it's just my pc. It starts tuning and show a connection status and then poof!! error error error. I have tried to run mplayer2, going to options, and then settings. I have a choice of three different streams, like http. still nothing. I just starting having this problem, like this week.

I want to address some application with IP1 and other thru IP2. I normally connect my laptop to the company's VPN where the firewall blocks some applications like Skype. I'd like to select what applications will go thru one IP (for the vpn) and others (like SkyPe) thru the other IP. I could use WiFI to get one IP and the ethernet cable ofr the second one. If someone has a sniffer and is pulling in packets, what can they actually see. can they read all e-mails, pages visited, IM's, etc.

I have set up the network through XPs network wizard and the internet is now shared between the two computers but even though the printer is set to share it is not visable from the other computer (the share this printer option is selected in properties) both computers also have a shared folder but they don't match up to each other, therefore they act as ordinary local folders. How can I make the printer visable and make the shared folders correspond? Ive tried add printer wizard but the printer isn't visable (tried with more than one printer). I know the network is working because I can now access the internet from both PCs

But it does reocognize the D drive, it just doesnt play any burned cd's or wont let me burn them. But it does play regular cd's that I've bought. When I hit properties on the D drive, it says that everything is working properly. I've tried uninstalling the drive, and reinstalling the drive, but that didnt work. What could be the problem?
