But it does reocognize the D drive, it just doesnt play any burned cd's or wont let me burn them. But it does play regular cd's that I've bought. When I hit properties on the D drive, it says that everything is working properly. I've tried uninstalling the drive, and reinstalling the drive, but that didnt work. What could be the problem?

I know this problem occurs a lot when the drive is not a write drive and the CDs were not finalized to be used on all computer.

May be an electronic malfunction of the drive.
Could also be a dirty lens.
