My computer recently got a virus, and I had to have my hard drive re-formatted. When they did this, I lost all of my programs. I am in desperate need of Microsoft Word, and I am willing to pay, but the only one I can find to buy is 2007. I have worked with 2007 and don't like it, plus it's a little expensive for me. I don't really care what version it is.. just NOT open office. I downloaded that, and I truly hate it. It wont let me open other documents, and it won't let me print. I appreciate your help!!

i made a slide show useing windows movie maker adding my own background music to the slideshow then i coppey it to a dvd disk every thing came out well but when i play it on my dvd player it playes for a while then it starts to skip, freezes and the music is distorted and the pictures are distorted.could any one tell me what am i doing wrong.any advice will be appricated thanks.

i wanted some piano sheet music to finding neverland. i came across this website that says it is free and "legal"..

see you don't download the files straight from the site, you just email people that list what they have on the site.. and if they have something you want, you ask them to email it to you and then you print it off for yourself.

is that illegal?? here is the website:

have got a computer with dvd-cd-RW on but
if i want to burn any thing it just bring the error messages
have use different softwares that you can burn and is not working

i know have burn some thing before have burn a Data DVD/Data CD but now i can't burn the error message is just about the drive problem bust i can still play cd or dvd on it
if you are technicien or engineer on dvd-cd-RW please help thank-you

I just hooked up my scanner to my new pc (Brother 7820N). On my old PC I had a copy of Adobe Acrobat Standard which I used to make PDFs from scanned docs. I don't feel like buying another copy of AAS. Is there any free (or cheaper) software that will make PDFs from my scanner?

I'm working on a website that has a three-column layout with a header and a footer. The left column is used for navigation, and therefore always has the same content. The middle column, however, always expands to fit the content because some pages have more text than others. Since the left column has a background color, it's quite obvious when it stops and leaves a lot of whitespace between the bottom of the left column and the footer. Is there a way to get the left column to expand to its maximum height without specifying a separate height in pixels on each page?

but they didn't seem to work, perhaps because I'm using a div to contain the three columns and not . Any leads in the right direction would be appreciated.

That:
-lets you shade certain areas
-lets you make a legend
-shows streets and street names
-allows you to zoom to street level

Cost doesn't matter to me, and it would be nice to be able to print the maps as well.

Anyone know of anything like this?

I have a dell xps 200 computer and when im downloading something and surfing the web it automatically shuts off and where i turn the computer on the light keeps flashing until i hold it down and then it turns off and i turn the computer back on and everything is fine until it happens again. please please help me out here. i just got this computer a year ago and spent over 1,500 for the damn thing.
