I want programs that are avidable for windows vista where I can adjust photos and add frames and cool stuff to them

İ have HP Deskjet 5440. We can say that it's new because only a few months passed. My problem is that this printer cannot be connected to the computer! The printer is on, the USB cable is attached to my computer, there's ink, there's paper but it seems like there's no signal from the printer. My keyboard is attached to the same USB hub, i can type, but the printer doesn't work.
Do you think i must get a new USB cable or a new printer?
Please help, !

i have packard bell easynote c3300 and i'm trying to install age of empires 3, when i try to play the game i get a message telling my that the proccesser speed is only 1100 but it should be 2000 any ideas?

I have two metal cans. One is a jam can with 7.3 diameter and height of 10cm. The other has a diameter of 9.9cm and 15cm height. I have a PC. I need to know where to go from there. My Motherboard is Asrock P4i45gv. The question is:

Is it possible for me to install PCI-e Video cards using the three PCI slots below my AGP Video card slot and won't have problems or is it for other hardwares only?

You see, most of the available video cards in my area offers PCI-e video cards. Since I am looking for a video card that supports shaders (for NWN2 and Titan Quest), the available video cards are for PCI-e only.

Please tell me if it is possible so that I can save money from buying a new Motherboard if it is possible. Thanks in advance

My boyfriend accidentally downloaded a virus/spyware program on to his computer. It is one of those where it says you have spyware and pops up with "buy this product to remove it" and it is even popping up with false IE and Microsoft security bubbles. He does have McAfee 12 in 1 protection and even went out and bought this Spyware Sweeper program but it isn't seeming to help at all. When he clicks on the site, the product name is Online Security Center 7.1. The bad thing is, not only is hard to search for in search engines (because I'm getting real spyware prevention things) but it is blocking some sites like the McAfee support and links that tell him how to get it off. If anyone can help me out, we'd greatly appreciate it. He could always reformat completely but he has a lot of stuff he doesn't want to lose.

Ok so i bought a motherboard " ConRoe1333-D667 "(i think) with a Intel GMA 950 Chipset.I looked on a web site to see its specifications and i see that this Chipset has Microsoft* DirectX* 9 Vertex Shader 3.0 and Transform and Lighting supported in software through highly optimized Processor Specific Geometry Pipeline (PSGP).......I looked at the system requirements lab i wanted to know if Battlefield 1942 (i think) will work on my computer and it said that it cant work because i dont have transform and lighting and when i checked another game it said that i have a vertex shader only 0.0.DO i need some software so the chipset can support Hardware T&L? or is my chipset damaged? CAn you help please? How can i make hardware T&L work.

perfect condition--
no dead pixels
no dents
no scratches
*LIKE NEW*

battery life bad
on button gets stuck
space button on keypad broken(it still works though its just not attached right)
no wireless---

Nothing appears to the monitor after booting. Operating system is Windows 2000. I guess that hard disk is working properly because red light blinks when the computer is started. Before the problem arised splash screen of windows appeared but the computer was hung. After forcly shut down present problem arises.

I am using JAVA to simulate a water heater. For a switch I am using buttons, ON, OFF and EXIT. EXIT exits the program, OFF switches the heater off and On switches starts the heating and cooling process.

Basically, I want the heating and cooling process to be an infinite loop until another button is pressed. The problem right now is that when i start the cooling and heating process, the program does not accept any other buttons i press.

How can i break the loop once another button is pressed, no matter where the program is within the loop?
