im trying to make a font skinny in the middle and fat on the ends. making a rounded shape. ive looked for websites and havent found any. i only need to know the name of that design.

If it's a font try to go to http://www.fontfreak.com and browse their 10,000 font archive by image for the one you'd like.
You could also try and figure out how to do this using Photoshop; you could highlight the last letter and the first letter and try and apply some filters/effects.
You could also try and use Logo creating software like AAA Logo or Logo Creator (which can be found on http://www.download.com).
