I installed Windows XP on my computer following a guide but now when I boot up, it gives me an options "XP Home" or "XP Pro" which leads me to believe that the virus infected XP Home that I was previously using is still lurking on my hard drive. How do I get rid of it for good?

I am trying to average mintues and seconds and I keep getting the #DIV/0 error and I know the cells that I am using are not at zero. Example 660:00, 134:50, 438:00. How do I format the cell so that it averages them correctly?

Ok basically i leave my computer on over night alot and one day i woke up too see it turned off. I went to press the on button and the computer just goes on for 1 second then off again. The lights go on during that time but nothing is displayed on the monitor. Not even a beep sound from the motherboard is made.

My question is should i get a new motherboard ? i fitted a brand new power supply but that didnt help. Thanks for your time

I have two OS on my system on separate partitions. Vista and XP. HOwever, when i turn on my computer my keyboard does not load up because when I am at the screen to choose which OS to boot from I can't use my keyboard...so it won't allow me to choose. After 20 seconds it automatically boots whatever is highlighted. Then after vista boots my keyboard works perfectly....WHY IS THIS??? HELP!!

hi
i need to implement a form into a html document that will give ppl an accurate quote
its going on a curtain manufacturers web page.
wat i need is a text field that can take the users curtain size, height and length, then they need to be multiplied (the area, im not much of a mathimatician so please help) by the material cost (this figure needs to b able to be changed easily for fluctuating material costs).
obviously need it to output a figure at the end.

any help would b much appreciated.

Hi i bought my sony vaio vgn-tx17gp last year in Thailand from a sony shop.
The wireless was working fine until few days ago. I can see all networks including mine. However the red cross is on at the bottom of the wireless icon and it wont connect.
