Bloody ridicules, that's $150 a GB...

Also, i've just had a look at whirlpool.net.au and the most downloads you can get a month is 150GB (40GB on peak, 110GB off peak) for $70 a month.
Its a 24576 / 1024 kbps connection so i guess its not that bad.

Im an Aussie I use Optusnets $69 cao which covers all my phone calls line rental 2 gig cable and unlimited extra but slowws to 64 I find it is very good Im saving from my old dial up about $100 per month ~~

Depends on who your ISP is. In the US there are some who charge and some who do not. I would assume it is the same there. Try checking around with other ISPs in your area. You will probably find one that has unlimited bandwidth. The price might be slightly higher per month, but if you exceed the limit on your current ISP, it gets a whole lot more expensive.

We're with bigpond . We have unlimited now but years ago we had no choice and paid about $150/month.

TRY GETTING A DIFFERENT SUPPLIER OR POSSIBLY UPGRADE THE ACCOUNT YOU HAVE NOW!
SOME COMPANIES CHARGE A HIGHER CONNECTION CHARGE BUT THEN ALLOW UNLIMITED DOWNLOADS!!!
