Hi i was just wondering if you can upgrade the Dell Latitude D400 HDD. If so how would you do it? like how would u install a new HDD. Also How do i know what RAM i need to buy. It currently has 512MB SD RAM but i want 1 GB. Also do you know where i could fin d cheap external DVD-ROM drive?

Is it possible in win 98 host machine with two lan card can share internet connection win -xp client machine(without proxy) or if i make host machine xp with two lan can share in win 98 client machine.

My first question is how to design a special link (on my home page) and when people click it, it will relocating people to different section of the same page. For example: when people click [MIDDLE], it will direct people to middle part of my page.

My second question is how come I CAN'T search my website on Google, Yahoo, and Msn?? Nothing shows up. please help me with this one and also point out how long will it take for my page to show up.

i recently was infected with some adware and i dont know how to get rid of it. I have tried using 3 different kinds of spyware sweepers (Webroot spy sweeper, AVG, and windows defender), but whenever the sweep gets close to finishing my computer shuts down. Also in the task bar by the clock there is a icon that brings up a bubble that says "System Alert! system has detected a number of active spyware applications that may impact the performance of your computer. hi,i have a modem conneted to my phone jack and its connected to my laptop via usb.the modem has no other outputs.i wanted to get internet for my xbox 360.how does a wireless adapter work?i know i have to get one for the 360,but,for my laptop,does it just connct to the laptop and give out wireless internet so i can connect to my 360?and,if i does,how do i "protect" the connection so nobody else can "steal" it?thank you very much all.any answer will be aprecciated

I need to download the Java Runtime Environment 5.0 or above. Where can I get that? I tryed Java.com but it keeps telling me:
This installation package could not be opened. Verify the that package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vender to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.

I am the admin on my computer, there are no restrictions on it, I just can't figure out what to do about this problem.

I am trying to uninstall a game (Rome Total War), but somehow one of the uninstall files has gone missing or been moved or been deleted so I can't uninstall the game.

Is there anything I can do to uninstall it? I still have the CD.

I accidently blocked an email address in Outlook Express. Now I can't find the application that will let me unblock it.

Also, I asked my utility company to email my statements but I haven't received any. They say they've sent them and to check my spam folder or junk mail folder. My Outlook Express doesn't have either one of these folders. How do I find something the system has blocked?

I have just bought a Mac.

If I load Open Office onto my system, am I able to save the files in Word format to transfer to my work PC ?

Am I also able to save Word files and open them using Open Office.
