You can get programs like net nanny, but the best cource of action is to turn on windows security, up the level one notch and do a bit of surfing yourself, looking for the porn sites, copy and paste the addresses into the blocked website pane of the security setings and set the security to request a pass word before accessing unrated sites, this works for me, as i know when the kid's are straying from rated websites as they have to come to me for approval first.

If U are using ie7 it's really easy, all u have to do is click on tools and then click on internet options, once the window has opened click on the content tab, and then pick the first choice which is content advisor where u can activate ratings viewable for ur computer.
You might also try to use the specif website option if u know the current sites ppl is using on ur computer. JUST go to tools, internet options, security tab, click on restricted sites and then click on sites and u may add the url(s) u want to block
If u are using mozilla Like I do, u might wanna try an add on for parental control.
If are using a provider browser something like Earthlink browser, or att yahoo. THey should provide u with a parental control tool!

You can prevent them from using your PC at all, by going into CMOS Setup and setting a Power-on password.
--on startup, press and hold the Setup key. This depends on the make of your PC, but you may see it listed at the beginning of the POST.
Delete or F1 or Esc may work, as these are the most common that I have seen.

If you are using NT, 2000, XP, or Vista you can set your account to use a password.
--Start....Control Panel....Users

Content Advisor has always been very very weak, as it does not get updated with relevant sites.

Simple enable the content adviser....

IN IE, go to tools, Internet options.... Click on the content tab and change the ratings for the sites and IE will block them... It is also a good idea to password protect it so that they can't change the settings....

It is similar in fire fox.....

K9 Web Protection

This is a very good program.
I tested several sites and it did a very good job of blocking those sites while letting legitimate sites through.
