i recently was infected with some adware and i dont know how to get rid of it. I have tried using 3 different kinds of spyware sweepers (Webroot spy sweeper, AVG, and windows defender), but whenever the sweep gets close to finishing my computer shuts down. Also in the task bar by the clock there is a icon that brings up a bubble that says "System Alert! system has detected a number of active spyware applications that may impact the performance of your computer. Click the icon to get rid of unwanted spyware by downloading an up-to-date antispyware solution."

What it sounds like your infected with is the Smit fraud clan and none of those devices will remove it that icon your seeing is part of the infection to get you to download a malignant trojan , Ex Spy sherriff etc .

The fix for that is on that page run the smit fraud fix folow the instructions and that will rid you of it then update all your spyware / anti virus. To be safe id run Stinger by Mcaffee at

Try running your antispyware scans in safe mode. To get into Safe Mode, reboot and then either hold down or tap the F8 key repeatedly while the computer is starting up.

You may also want to try these antispyware products. You can uninstall them afterwards should you prefer.

do not click on something that asserts it is going to obtain and end the spyware. The spyware places that stuff there so it could do extra injury. Google advert-conscious and obtain that.additionally Spybot. they are unfastened and quite efficient and can be as much as date so they are continually on the ball.you ought to prefer to seek for a component referred to as Crapcleaner too. It is going via you device and eliminates all your surfing historical past and loads of different previous stuff that merely sits there slowing up your gadget. Thats unfastened too. sturdy success.
