Hi I was wonderinghow I can create my own website besides a myspace. Does anybody know?

Yahoo Geocities is good for a beginner and entirely free. It has some wizards to get you started, I believe. I like heart-internet.com, as they have a free plan that's very comprehensive, more features than geocities, and again I believe it has wizards and templates to get you started. Good luck, and when you want more control over your sites research HTML and Javascript. These markup languages will allow you to completely customise evey aspect of your site.

Start with a beginner's html book (you can get one at most electronic or book stores in a clearance bin). Then you can go to www.geocities.com to sign up for a free web page. Geocities also had easy walkthrough features if you just want a simple page. There are also plenty of other companies that offer free pages, but they usually display their logo on the page.

Yes. You have 2 options, one use a free domain which could look like http://free-host.com/user/your-chosen-name or go to like godaddy.com and sign up for own domain name of your choice. The you will need hosting again you can choose either free (which usually contains ad's and small amount of space) or sign up for a small package at a host like hostgator.com. * Be aware of web hosting companies - a lot are rippers. Then you just point your domain (provided by godaddy or wherever you register your domain) to the hosts nameserver (provided by host gator or wherever you sign up). Once the name servers propgate (usually 12-24 hrs) your page will be availbale. You can use a template, design your own using a program like FrontPage, CoffeeCup, or any other. Or you can use the design features included with your hosting (HTML Editor).

Go to http://www.geocities.com . It is free and run by Yahoo. You can create a site from scratch using HTML or use one of the tools available there.

idk but you have to pay for your domain ..... myspace is better cuz its free and you can talk to people and design it and creepy 90 yr old men cant look at it unless your profile is public or on your friends list!
i had a website before it was really boring.
and not worth the effort of designing.
