u know when u set a background using html codes it automatically repeats the background to cover the whole page how would u go about getting that effect using flash?

when I put something in the bin, the icon does not change to show full,unless I retart my pc then the icon shows full, then I empty the recycle bin but the icon does not change to show empty?

i read this story ( http://www.macworld.com/2006/06/firstlooks/macbookgames/index.php ) and it said the macbook wasnt too good for gaming, im not so sure what to believe but what do you guys think? and if i put 2 gig ram in and get a 500 gig external hard drive+windows how do you think i would work, or what would go wrong, also could you tell me what would be good to put in my mac?

Its running Windows XP, and has lost my printer, no matter what I do it wont find it. A Speedscanprogr. says that I`m missing 9 HKEY-Classes- Root, some Office Assistnt pieces and Windows Microsoftnet Framework files, how do I get them and incorporate them properly??? pls help

I will watch a movie on my computer, and i basically have to put my head as close to my computer as possible..hah. and i've checked the icon on the bottom right of my screen to see if it is turned up all the way, and it is. Also, i've tried redownloading my flashplayer...any ideas?

I was just looking at a real estate site on the internet. While looking at pictures of homes for sale a message popped up on my computer. The message was from microsoft and said asked if I wanted to do a sweep on my computer to clean out certain files. It stated that I had several adult themed files on my computer and that I should remove them. What bothered me is that the message stated that the images that were on my computer could "cause problems with your career and your marriage". This is what made me think it was not a true message from my computer but a pop up from this site. When the message appeared it was the same background color of my computer (I customized it so that my tool bar and such would be pink). I tried to do a search on my computer for any adult content but didn't find any. I do have McAfee security and virus protection and I also had my pop up blocker turned on. I personally know that I haven't viewed any adult content on my computer. Any ideas? Is this real?

I am having a problem with my Toshiba satellite notebook. I don’t know if I have a virus or just hit something by accident. When I try to delete or change a program, or restore to an earlier point I get the following error message. “this operation has been canceled due to restrictions on this computer” Anybody have any ideas?

How do I stop my computer from storing these temporary files. I know how to get rid of the temporary internet files but not these. Please help.......

My computer is doing some really weird stuff. I'm about ready to throw it out the window

*It's running slow....i mean bad slow. I have to stop and wait to see what i've typed

*Pop ups are about to drive me crazy

*It's always wanting to send an error report on every program i run, including internet explorer

*When i try to access my spyware program it shuts down and restarts

*When it starts up it comes to a screen where it says: you're new client name _____

I don't know what's going on with it, but i would really appreciate any help anyone can give me on what to do with it.

On my MacBook with 2.16GHz Intel Core Duo processor and 1GB RAM, it is very hard to find any games that will run on Windows (using Parallels Desktop). This is because my computer doesn’t have a graphics card. It uses the processor for that, and that works fine in Mac OS X, but all PC’s have graphics cards.

BioShock won’t run, Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars won’t run, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition won’t run. Mind you, I have only tried with demos downloaded from Steam (except BioShock Demo, that’s from a torrent). Half-Life 2 won’t run either.

So, can anyone tell me if it is in any way possible for me to play games like these? Perhaps somehow tricking Windows into thinking that I have a graphics card?

I have an inkling that whatever I do on my system is constantly accessed by somebody else also. I've spybot search and destroy installed on my comuter, it does come upu with a couple of entries from downloaded stuff like pornography and all which show up as malware. But what I'm concerned with is somebody consistently viewing the contents of my system. How to be sure about it? and what is the remedy? Is the copy of the window being duplicate at the root of the problem. Please help.

ok i'm doing a simple assignment and i've just started learning C++, but I still am missing some basic knowledge of the program and my teacher is, well, not a very good teacher (he doesn't even teach us with computers, he makes us take notes)

I have to convert a measurement from feet and inches into cm and pi units. This is how it says:

The latter have pi inches per unit of measurement. Read the English units using two input statements and convert them. Then output the inputted values and the results with labels. The conversion factors are to be declared as constants. You should try at least three sets of inputs that test a variety of conditions.

THe output should have this form:

Input: XX feet and XX inches
Converts to: YY.YY centimeters
ZZ.ZZ pi units

now what is the deal with inputting and outputting? Is input what you enter into the program and output what the program responds to the input? Can someone help me get started?

Many months ago, I installed Spyware Doctor into my computer. Back then, after startup, my RAM-usage was only about 210,000/632,696K according to my Task Manager. Not only did the product take too long to load, it also slowed down my PC significantly. Finding that it was too strenuous for my computer, I uninstalled it.

Yet, my computer was still (and still is) slow after the uninstallation. Ever since I installed it, my PC is always slow and always using at least 310,000/632,696K, a 100,000K difference! Thinking that some part is still there and operating, I have tried reinstalling and uninstalling, manual ununstallaition, System Restore, Spybot, Windows Defender. None have worked in fixing it.

Please help! Thank you for your time.
