As soon as my laptops windows XP starts, so after loading the initial programmes my task bar disappears for ever. let me know how to bring it back, i mean if there may be any command to execute in order to bring taskbar back???

Hi, I have a mac 10, and i like to use the "picture capture" feature a lot. But i dont know how to turn it into a JPEG. Because it comes as a PDF.

Heads Up: I do NOT have photoshop, or any photo editing programs that may solve my problems.


I hope to upload them to photobucket.

I recently bought a Compaq Presario SR1710NX. The stock processor is an AMD Sempron 3400+ 2.0GHz. The motherboard specs are here:

I'd like to upgrade the computer to a dual-core processor. I know the processor has to be socket 939, but I'm having trouble figuring out which specific processor to buy. The Newegg website lists these dual-core AMD processors:

Would any of these work? If so, do the more-expensive processors really boost performance significantly more than the cheaper ones?

Any guidance here would be helpful. I'm particularly interested in whether an Opteron-type processor would work, even though it's not listed on the official HP motherboard specs (but I've heard through the grapevine that it would work anyway).

I'll be getting a laptop soon. I want to be able to use my regular pc in one room while someone else uses the wireless laptop in another room. I have a cable modem. How will I connect things so I can do the above? I do have an older Wireless B router if that will be of any help. Thanks

I am using azureus for the 1st time and have downloaded the torrent thing to my desktop and when i click it, azureus opens up and shows the file that is ment to be downloading but it's been bout 15mins and the speed thing is still empty and the progress bar is still at 0%.

I am trying to clean up my hard drive and free extra space on my computer. When I go to the control panel and click on add and remove programs and go to the program I want to unistall, i keep getting this message "COULD NOT OPEN INSTALL.LOG FILE" I have several programs that's giving me that error message. An Indian discovered that nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on the computer which can be named as "CON". This is something pretty cool...and unbelievable... At Microsoft the whole Team, couldn't answer why this happened!
