Resource CD for Netgear DG834G wireless modem?

Question

I have lost the resource / installation cd for this wireless modem. Does anyone know where I can either download or buy one from? Thanks.

I have already totally removed the software from the computer. does anyone know how I reinstall it with no disc? can it be done through the web?

Either try the Netgear website, or just configure it via the web interface by logging into the router (the DG834G is not a modem).

For example:

http://192.168.0.1

If your router's address is different (like 1.1. instead of 0.1) then use that...

this is the only thing I found close to an installation CD

http://kbserver.netgear.com/release_notes/d102417.asp this site is some what of what you need but I dont think it will work,

the installation CD isnt sold , companies make money from the hard ware not the CDs call the company am sure they'll be glad to send you a nother CD or provide you a download link via email

also if you are trying to reinstall your modem, try going to the Add/remove programs window from the control panel some programs allow you to repair/reinstall with out the CD this could also be in the start menu (look for an option like repair or reinstall )

You can do 2 things: 1st you can request the store where you purchased that modem for another copy, or you can copy it yourself, just show them the proof of purchase. 2nd is by downloading it from their site. Try tis link - http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/DG834G.asp
