so i bought ca internet security, which i would like except for the fact that it won't let my ActiveX work, it won't let me play any videos on myspace, and it won't let me log in on hotornot. I fought with it for an hour just to get it to let me online at all! any suggestions?

He seems quite happy with it. Says he is running WoW full spec, no problems. I was wondering what games i could get him that would work well with his system. I was thinking Halo and Lego Star Wars 2 would be a start. But i'm just not sure what will run well. I just found out today that there are 6200s out there for about the same price we got him his FX 5500 but i heard those are unreliable. Do i have a reason to feel bad? Or should the FX 5500 be fine?

I am thinking about upgranding to vista, but with all the great advantages, i need to think aobut the disadvantages as well. My first question is, will i have to upgrade anything on my computer? I have heard yes i do , but im not sure.( i have a dell demensio E310 desktop) Vista looks great, am i being fooled? What kinds of programs and applications come with? Does it come with microsoft office? what are the pros and cons of vista.
P.S I am getting Windows Vista Home premium

It will connect at 54 mbps and then drop to 18 mbps or 11 mbps right away. Is there any way to correct this?

I have a database with a load of product codes and have to make sure duplicates are changed to some other value.

I found a few ways to find duplicates on:

http://www.cpearson.com/excel/duplicat.htm

but only testing for duplicate entries works in Excel 2000 on my PC.

Highlighting Duplicate Entries seems to do nothing. have tried background colour and italic text but no go.

Tagging Duplicate Entries results in #NAME? in every cell

Code doesn't just change between Excel97 and 2000? What am I doing wrong?

html, css, php, xhtml, etc... I checked my Yahoo email account today to clear out spam. I never use it so I know that anything in there is pretty much spam. Today I discovered something that wasn't spam: someone's psych evaluation. Someone sent a confidential psych evaluation to some people and to me by accident. Now I know accidents happen but why is this stuff going out by email and why is it going to the wrong address? Scary. I did a "reply all" and told the people to be more careful next time. However, if it was my report that was mis-addressed, I'd be pretty pissed off. Is there some other reporting I should be doing or have I done enough?

My BF is thinking about dumping his hard- lined connection at home and switching to Verizon wireless plan... great for him but not so great for me. We had a network setup with wireless router so I couldaccess the internet through my own laptop, now it seems as if I won''t be able to? Will the Verizon card talk with the router to allow me to share that connection or am I SOL? Thanks!
