There are several things that you can try, though as someone else said, it is near impossible to completely block it out if someone is determined. Here are some things to try.
1) Parental Controls, whether they be through your ISP or on your computer. To get there on your computer, go to Control Panel, Internet Options, Content tab, and under Security Advisor, click Enable. This will allow you some blockage.
2) If you have a Linksys router, go into the admin settings, select Access Restrictions, and you can manually block sites.
3) Get a program like NetNanny.
4) Contact your ISP and see if they can manually turn off service to those kind of websites.
5) Also, be sure to check out for proxy servers, such as V-Tunnel, that allow you to bypass parental controls and the such. Block these sites out as well, because they circumnavigate everything.
Hope some of those are helpful.

It's really hard, because the purveyors of porn find every angle and every opportunity to sneak their sleaze in under the door. You can go to your security setting on your computer, and disallow all of the bad words, all of the bad websites, one by one. Set your security high. This prevents you from being able to go to some websites that aren't bad though. But it would be worth it to keep the porn out. It's addictive, even nice boys and men can get drawn into it, without even looking for it.

Unplug your computer from the world wide web. Close your ISP account.
Also ensure you never use a storage device, eg. CD,DVD and floppy, especially if you are unsure of the owner.
If you do so you will have blocked all porn from your computer.

are all you're automatic updates turned on,on your security systems?when they come in your mail, they should have an unsubsribe space, this might or might not help.I don't visit porn sites, but all mail,so far as I know, has a unsubscribe space you can click onto. You may try sending a personal request to unsubscribe. If you have asked to have your email address removed, and they do not comply, try contacting the FCC.

You have to put up a firewall, but that isn't a guarantee that ALL of the sites will be blocked.

ok , no software required. there's a fee though.
it's called web filtering, and what you do, is set up your computer to use their dns servers, or proxy and it filters all the nasty stuff you don't want to see.
