I have to create an online gradebook for a class. I don't know either very well (just the very basics). Which has better tools? Which has better support? Which would be better for this particular project? Are there any useful frameworks?

i recently dowloaded & installed windows sp2 & now my moden isnt working. ive deleted it & reinstalled but my comp doesnt seem to realize the modem is there i keep getting (RAS) error 692 from my service provider but ive no idea what that means

my itunes and my ipod are connected,
and on the "library", my songs are on there
but then on my ipod there are only the songs that have album names on them.

Lately, I started to sell on eBay again, & now I keep getting all kinds of weird emails saying they are from eBay, but they are not. It will be from people who have questions about an item I had for sale, but I know my item #'s & they emailed me the wrong one! Also, I am unable to login into eBay now. It says that I have the wrong password. I filled out the "get a new password" on eBay website & recieved 2 emails back! One I think was from eBay & the other looked like the eBay email, but it seemed wrong. The items I was selling are no longer listed! The time still had 3 days to go (according to yesterday). I emaile support at eBay, still waiting on the response.

What steps do you do to help fix this problem?

I have had no problem using the WiFi at motels I have stayed at that offer their own WiFi, or at the library. However, in other situations, when I have picked up a nearby WiFi source, I have either been unable to connect to it despite a strong signal (and this is one that IS unsecured and public), or I've been able to connect, but then not been able to get on the Internet with it (again, this is one that is unsecured and public). What's the deal?

Ok so I need to use my recovery CD's but my main cd drive is busted. How can I use my external CD/DVD burner to boot my recovery disk when my bios doesnt have the option to boot from USB?

I need to delete my old msn toolbar before I can download another one but how do I do it when I have know idea where it went to.I already looked at add/remove programs it wasnt there. I also looked afew other but I dont remember if someone says it Ill know if I went there or not. This stuff is driving me NUTS as in CRAZY can someone please HELP!!!

Will I be able to format my hard-drive and install my O/S with my Emachines recovery CD??

It says "The restore CD is provided by Emachines and gives a complete backup of the software that was preinstalled on the PC at the factory. Should the software ever need to be reinstalled, the Restore CD will copy the necessary files onto the hard drive."

So I can format my hd and then put this CD in and boot it up?

I just dont want to be stuck with no O/S because the computer didnt come with an O/S CD, just these recovery disks. Also there is a CD key for WIndows XP on the bottom of the laptop...

On the trouble shooting @ Media Player it says that either a sound device isn't working properly or isn't installed. Our computer doesn't have Word, Powerpoint, etc, but does have the internet. Does that have something to do with it? Pls Help, I wanna listen to my music!!!

I previously owned a cannon multipass suite, but the waste ink tank filled up and it was going to cost more to get it serviced than to buy new, so i threw it out and bought an epson cx3700.I do a lot of color copying and this one seems to run out that often that i am forever buying cartridges.I know this is where they get you with these printers.They sell them cheap, then you pay through the nose for constantly buying the cartridges.I am thinking of refilling my cartridges, and bought the inks to do this, but now i have to buy a resetter for this printer as the ink cartridges have a chip in them.the resetter is cheap enough to buy.Has any of you refilled your own cartridges and used a resetter?-is it easy ?-or tricky.-many thanks.
