every name on Yahoo is not taken, but a lot of them are. Yahoo has been around for over 10 years with people making accounts.

Because Yahoo is a well known and well used search engine. And there are more and more people using the internet every day. You can't do anything anymore without having an email address. Not to mention the fact that the email addresses are free and you don't have to have a computer to access your email, you can access your email from any computer in the world!

Not every name, you just haven't come up with the right combination or right words. It's been around for a long time & there is a lot of folks wanting a free account.

because its a free highly accessable service if you are looking for a email account check out www.gmail.com there is over 2 gigs and nearing 3 gigs of space and you can archive messages forever
