ya know the e-mail kind where someone is saying that they need your infomation so that they can deposit money in your account and then you must Western Union it to them and you keep some. - Or the other typical one where you are told you won some lottery and they need your info. This e-mail is going around and it has a link to an actual site so that it will seem more believable...www.afbini.gov.uk...so many people are gonna get screwed....

I've seen some good domain names that are registered already, but there is no webpage, just a holder. Some have been registered for a while
I tried Snapnames, but it seems the owners renew before the domain expires.
Should I just email the owner? Then how do we make the exchange if they agree? How do I know how much to offer?

I tried the wireless connection in the office and had no luck. I guess i need to hook up with the wire connection in the wall. I have thje Dell Inspiron. It is supposed to have a modem. Can I just hook in the wall connection and pick up the provider or do I need to add software from the provider? What doi I do when If with the pushing of the right buttons when I am connecting to the provider in the wall connection? Please elaborate/ Do I need a router? Whst is a router for?

anybody have or knows how to get the recovery system disk for HP pressarion 6310US. I've already tried on HP customer noservice. they don't have it any longer. I wander if somebody with the same computer can make me a copy. the funny guys on HP told me to buy a new computer "it will be easiear and cheaper than a new windows disk."

I'm looking for a simple image slide show for my website. I"m looking for something like you find of the homepage of aol.com and the old yahoo.com. My anti virus Mcafee said that my computer is infected with worm/ spyware/ viruses but it cant be cleaned or deleted. I try to format my hardisk using win98 bootdisk. After that i re-install windows xp prof and other application program including anti virus (mc afee). But the worms, viruses and spyware is still der? I thought that when i formatted my hardisk.. all the files including those pest will be completely deleted... I formatted my hardisk several times already (fat32). I heard that theres a better way on how i can format my hardisk. Please if you guys know about this process.... i would be very thankful.

In preparation for A+ OS exam, I booted from MS-DOS rescue disk to an A prompt. Typing in C: to access the hard drive (which is perfectly good; without the floppy rescue disk, the computer boots normally; I'm just doing this as lab. exercise), I get "invalid command". I tried other variations such as CD C:\ and Run. Still cannot access hard drive. What to do?

ok so ive used my mouse for a few years now. all of a sudden it starts to spaz on me. spaz i mean it either stops completely and i cant get it to move or it starts opening and closing windows by itself, scrolling up and down, watever.
so i switched my mouse to my brothers computer and it works completely fine. his mouse works on my computer fine. but whenever i put my original mouse in my computer, it doesnt work.
so what could be the problem?

I've got a couple of newspaper articles that are front and back pages. I want to do copies of the backsides only, but some of the newspaper articles that I want back side page copies, well the articles are huge. I can't use my school copy machine because they only have 8 1/2 by 11 type of printers. Do certain public libraries have any large copy machines that people can use? If so, are there any type of public libraries in Pennsylvania that might have a huge copy machine of some sort?
