ok so ive used my mouse for a few years now. all of a sudden it starts to spaz on me. spaz i mean it either stops completely and i cant get it to move or it starts opening and closing windows by itself, scrolling up and down, watever.
so i switched my mouse to my brothers computer and it works completely fine. his mouse works on my computer fine. but whenever i put my original mouse in my computer, it doesnt work.

so what could be the problem?

I would say reinstall the software, but if you just plugged it into the other pc, then it doesn't need any drivers beyond the basic. Though, if another mouse worked fine it's not the actual outlet either. I'd say get a new mouse, they are cheap. There is probably something screwy with yours like a loose wire.

Definitely a software error. You can try going to the properties of My Computer, go to device manager, uninstall the mouse, use a different mouse( will be installed automatically ), then reinstall your old mouse again. Your mouse has been with your comp for too long and software issues can make it uncompatible sometimes.

The old mouse your using has a cut wire on the cord This happened to me a couple of times. Try replacing the wire or better yet buy a new mouse.

just buy a new mouse. You can get an optical mouse for as little as $10 at wal mart and regular ball mice are as little as $5.

Does it choose cleansing? it could have a loose linked twine - try yet another to verify if that's the mouse - that is something else. Use your keyboard till you will get a alternative.

If its a usb mouse, try a different usb port. If its a pcs mouse, you may have a problem with the pcs port on your pc. Try a different mouse on your pc to see if thats it.
