i think its cool that you can see anything
sometimes its really blurry in some places.
Does anyone know why?

I love it!!

It is blurry in some places (like rural areas) because Google Earth spent less time on areas that were thought to be less researched (therefore, pictures were taken from different cameras at different distances). you are not receiving up to date pictures in most places, it some areas it seems like your are looking at pictures from about three years ago, which is true. You will only get top quality recent images, if your purchase the product instead of using the free version. Which I believe it is around 300 bucks.

Good Luck, and keep playing with it. Check out the U.S./Mex. Border in some areas you might be surprised what you will find!

google earth is a great program but some of it is blurry because those photos were taken from outer space... the clear ones were taken from airplanes high in the sky...

Don't know why it is blurry, but I think it is awesome what it can do. It can pinpoint your dam house, amazing. I like to use it becasue living in Florida, we fish the Halifax River and it shows every twist, turn and island. Its great.

it is so cool, you can even see restricted area places like area 51 in nevada
