I sell & buy on Ebay. Hopefully I can help you.
Did you pay yet? When you get the package and it shows the shipping charges and they are way less than what you paid you can file a complaint. Alot of people don't know this, but it is against ebays policy to WAY over charge on shipping and they also don't agree w/ hidden charges. You can file a complaint and more than likely the seller will have to refund you on shipping.
If you get the package and it has the shipping charges hidden you can call your post office and ask them what the shipping cost would be for a package from whatever their zip code is to yours, you'll have to tell them the weight which will be on the upper left hand side of the label, they will than beable to tell you the exact price of shipping.
If you post negative feedback for the seller he will turn around and do the same to you. Kinda sucks, but that is what will happen. I wouldn't mess w/ that.
Also, have you ever used ebay Live Help? It is a live chat w/ ebay staff, they will help you.
I hate it when there are crooks like the one you re dealing w/, it makes it bad on all use honest sellers.
More than likely this seller didn't get what he wanted for this item so he got you on shipping. I'd stay away from the ones who don't show the shipping charges.
Good Luck to you!!!

Was there anything stated on the ad for the shpping? Or a shipping calculator? I would have emailed the seller and asked about the shipping if the ad stated nothing. You can email the seller and ask why the shipping is so much, and if there is a cheaper way to ship it but if there was nothing there that states the shippiing amount the seller can charge you whatever they want. Also I would contact ebay if the shipping can't be justified due to the fact it is such an extreme amout .

When you bid you are committing yourself into a contract, the seller assumes that you have read and agree with the item description including the S/H info. Some sellers have a low asking price on an item which is worth much more, and instead they have a very high asking S/H fee. They do that so as to save money on commission owed to ebay. That is legal, however, you are still liable to purchase the item. You should have read his/hers instructions.

theres three things u can do.
1. Not pay and wait for them to complaint to ebay and then explain to ebay why ur not paying
2. Read more carefully next time
3. Curse the seller out and give him a neg feedback for cheating u.
Was the seller in a different country? that might explain it...sent me the link.

NEVER bid on anything until you get shipping charge to your location. Many sellers are charging outrageous shipping costs in the last few months----always check on shipping charge before you bid. Email for quote if they don't have it listed and save the email answer in case you are the winning bidder. I have complained on several sellers to ebay but alas to no avail. So be diligent, check first. Thanks.

always depends on your arrangement with the seller and yourself. Did you request the seller to ship it to your address ? If so how was the aggreement ? Perhaps always its better to pick the item yourself to avoid extra cost.
