itunes wont add songs to my ipod unless i put an album name on them?

my itunes and my ipod are connected,
and on the "library", my songs are on there
but then on my ipod there are only the songs that have album names on them.
what do i do?

but then the itunes that i've installed before wasnt like that..?

i mean.. i have about 600 songs and it's gonna take a while to add the album names on each of them..

give them a name ......Unknown Album

put the name of the album on them it shouldnt take that long.
