Microsoft will not give updates for win2000. Why?

I tried to download the latest Microsoft security updates, but it wouldn't work. Maybe Microsoft doesn't support win2000 anymore?

gif's dont look good?

all of a sudden gif's dont look good anymore. all other picture formats are ok but gifs look like bad resolution. any settings for that? how do i fix???

every time I try to see a youtube video on my computer I have this error message (Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Click here to get the latest flash player. )

my computer monitor has become dark, may be by 'phishing'. How to rectify it?

One month ago, I updated my Mcafee anti virus which was downloaded freely from internet. After two days, my computer has become dark. Very rarely I get colour pictures. I think it is because of phishing. How to recover from it?

I just put in memory...(read on)?

..do I have to do any settings or install anything? The memory hardware didn't come with a CD.
