Is there any way to get a universal key code for XP professional?
Over the years I lost the box.

No no.. don't buy another copy. You just need a key extractor program there are tons of them on the net. I have added a link which you can download one that will extract yoru key for you. I have also added the link to my search results on download.com which lists several more programs for fetching an XP key.

Okay, you want to get your XP ID Key then download this little utility. You need to unzip it then you can run it you don't have to bother registering it. This nifty little program will at ease reveal your XP ID on screen in a flash.

The link is safe as I have tried it myself and I am a gentleman.
It is not illegal as it is only revealing your ID key that you already should own (If you bought your XP legally)
