Ok, I got SBC Yahoo DSL on our main computer in the garage. I want to be able to have Internet connection on another computer in the living room. What do I need to buy? I can get Internet signal on a PSP, so do I still need a router? What does the other computer need to receive Internet signals from the DSL modem?

Sorry, I don't know much about this stuff.

The other comp needs a wireless PCI card installed or you can get wireless reciver for USB. Where is signal coming from for your PSP? I'm assuming that would be your router. Either way you need a router to send out the signal. You can get routers with USB reciever in kits. to set up use the disk with the router. Don't forget when setting up look for options to encrypt signal and not broadcast network name. That way skyjackas won't even know you got wireless when they do drive by's lookin for signals.

You need a router to send a signal; it sounds like you already have this for the psp to pick up signal unless it is getting signal from someone nearby, and on the other computers you need wireless adapters for each one of them to receive the signal.

All you do is get a router and hook it to your main computer, itll have instructions. I just did this a few months ago. Im running on a laptop and the main computer is in the kitchen. Thats all there is to it.

Lots of good information here, but truthfully, it sounds to me like you should call for some professional help. I did. Easier on the nerves.
