No, normally the pen is more like a PDA stylus with a little magic behind it. But Wacom does offer an $80 ink pen for their Intuos tablet, so you can draw on paper and capture through the tablet at the same time.

Yes, you can use a regular pen But it is high NOT suggested because you MIGHT ink your screen. If you don't have a the Screen writing tablet i sugest you remover the ink point from the pen, or leave the cap on while you wrining on it. If you want you can purchase a DUAL PEN that has the functions of a stylus and a pen (very useful :: i got one and im writing with it now)

Unless you have a tethered/digital pen then you might not be able write on it without that special pen

If you have already made your markings be sure to disable your screen and wipe it of to prolong the life of your monitor
