1. Why do you want to "Reformat" your hard disk?
2. If you really want to do this then go to www.microsoft.com (if you are running a Microsoft based machine) and search for "Reformat".
Good Luck my friend ;-)

What seems to be the problem, first? Reformat is the last option usually. You will need to have a copy of your Windows OS to re-install. PLUS, a back up of all your files in a separate storage drive.
Reformat is possible but it means you completely erase everything on your disk. Are you sure this is what you want?

whos ever is 2 spaces above me is a dumb ***. yes you can all you have to do is get the disk for your opperateing system which is big mula but its worth it cause you can reformat as much as you want. first make sure you have everything you want on a disk cause it will be all gone. drag and drop dont do shortcuts cause youll lose it all. the start the computer with the disk in and follow the instructions.then youll have it on. NOTE: anything you dont have on a disk will be gone this will start you like right out of the box so make sure you have EVERYTHING you want.

Well first you have to save all your files on DATA .....then you must have a Bootable OS at hand plus ALL system (Motherboard Original Drivers) if you do well lets start....Reboot system & keep pressing ..Delete....the computer will start up with BLUE screen this is called the BIOS.....enter boot sequence & set it to boot up FROM CDROM
then SAVE & EXIT .....Reboot system & the computer will boot up with OS(Operating Software) Disc of your choice...from there on the OS will do its part & you will only have to follow through a few easy steps & it will all be done .....after sucessful install... insert the System (Motherboard Original Driver) CD & install all necessary drivers.....After that the system is ready for use ..Good Luck my friend...!!!
