I have some very good 2500mah AA battries, my mouse keeps burning them up, faster and faster. sometimes i can still click, but the laser dont work. (i am using tht nav control on my remote as a mouse, but its slow) What is wrong?

i have VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP and everytime i install a game it won;t start it up... i just downloaded Call of Duty 2 and when i play it, it stops and it keeps saying Video card or driver doesn't support alpha blending.

I want to speed up my laptop performance . Where can I download decent free software ? I close programmes to stop them running in the background and defrag regularly. I´ve had it running quicker before and now it just seems to be slowing down again.

hey guys, i'm having problems with my sound card, as no sound will play on my p.c, i'm guessing i need to re-install the drivers, but i cant find my driver disk for the sound card, is there any way off getting these drivers from the web.

our school in connected into the internet and the school provides a network where we could pluge our laptops and use the internet, but the school had restricted other sites that would be need by the students like limewire, bareshare, proxy servers etc.
