Is there a free or cheap PHP application to manage and share files on a web server with features similar to box.net or xdrive.com - i.e. easy user access to individual files or groups of files and uploading via a web interface? It occured to me that rather than spend money on one of those services, some web hosts give you much more storage so I could create my own.

I have 3 computers, one has a ethernet connection, one is connected by a wireless dongell. I have a new computer that i want to add to the network, I have installed the USB adapter and it searches for the wireless network, it picks up the nextdoor neighbours network, but not the one in this house. where from here?

This is my newly build pc, Under device manager everything looks okey, Tried changing the speakers but still no sound on speakers. Also trid to slot in a PCI sound card and still would not get sound but instead my monitor went blank. I therefore removed the ard slotted card and monitor was back to normal but still no sound. Whats could be wrong. Everything else seems ok..i.e the OS was installed wothout a hitch as well as all audio,video drivers except that when i slot in a flash disk on one of the USB slots my USB mouse and keyboard freezes

If I save a webpage in the normal way in Internet Explorer, (as an HTML doc.) and then procede to open it, I get the message: 'Windows cannot open this file'. It seems to get saved as an ASP file (?) instead of an HTML Doc. Any ideas on how to solve this?

I am going to restore my computer to it's original state using the restore disks. I need to save all my emails, folders and addresses to a external disk.
I also have a lot of emails and would like to save them all at once.
Using "save as" for each would take forever.
