When I tried inserting & going to the next free disk drive; i.e., E, it says to insert into E--but there's only slots for C & D. I know this is a stupid question, but I'm not very computer literate. Going to My Pictures didn't work, either. I want to post a picture in Personals & also be able to store it for e-mails. I know how to send attachments.

I have an old dell dimesion with a fried processor and have just purchased a new dell inspiron I am curious as to how I can get all the data off my old hard drive and on to the new laptop. Is this possible to do even when the old computer wont even start up because it has no processor and if so how?

Up until a few days ago I have had a computer with Windows ME on it. I had gotten used to it. But now I have on with Windows XP and I've never used XP so I am trying to figure out how do you tell how much of your memory is free and how much is being used. I knew how to do it on ME but I cant figure out how to do it on XP. Please help. Thanks.

Once I clicked on link recd. on my yahoo messenger & my PC got infected with spywares.The site which I opened from that link has been set as default homepage & now I can't change my homepage,pl. note that I already scanned my PC with spyware doctor & remove all infected files from my Pc but still that changing homepage option is not available please help me out.

i use paypal to receive my payments from ebay. I probably receive about $400/mo in a decent month. I get charged 30 cents plus 2.9% for each payment. I've heard or read that if u have a 'personal paypal account' you can receive money for free?
Am I being an idiot but not having a personal paypal account and therefore being charged all these fees? ( in general when is one type of account used versus the other and should i maybe have one of each?)

I have a 'E-machines' pc with a disc drive and all that good stuff, but I don't hae a Playstation 2 console. I got a game by accident that's for PS2, not for pc.....can I somehow play it on my pc, will it work, or no? I'm afraid to try it, please help...it's a good game, I'd like to keep it.

i am running vista ultimate(beta) and have all the specs and using a ge-force 4 mmx ,but when i install the vista drivers from nvidia it informs me that the drivers dont recognize my card allthough its a nvidia card which uses unified drivers
i used the x86 drivers(is that right),but to no avail(my processor is a amd athlon 3200+(512mb ddr ram)
is there any other vista drivers avalible on the web.
my desktop is fine and i can play all the games that windows has built in,but it wont play doom..quake(no acceleration)
any ideas

However, when I paste the code in the scrolling box, the promo picture shows up. How can I prevent this from happening on my site - I just want the code to show up so that others can copy it. Is there a certain code that I have to put in there to prevent this? Keep in mind that I don't want the CODE to show up when people paste it on their site. I want the actual picture to show up.
