When I tried inserting & going to the next free disk drive; i.e., E, it says to insert into E--but there's only slots for C & D. I know this is a stupid question, but I'm not very computer literate. Going to My Pictures didn't work, either. I want to post a picture in Personals & also be able to store it for e-mails. I know how to send attachments.

your c drive is probably your internal hard drive, d drive is your dvd player or writer,
is it in a file?? on c drive?

Your description of the problem is diffcult to follow. What do you mean by a picture disk? SD or similar card from camera? If so you must have a SD/Camera card reader on your system. The Camera Card reader will appear as just another drive which can be any letter generally F: and up.
If this is the case then copying the picture from the camera card is ...right click copy open up folder (c:/mypictures) then right click paste

Insert it in 'D'. Highlight all the pictures you want by using the 'ctrl' key, then holding down the right mouse button, click save as. You'll get a menu drop down and save the pics in 'my pictures' folder. I would do a back up of the CD because if not kept in a cool, dry place, such as a box especially made for them, you will prob ably lose your files after a certain length of time. Do not leave the CD's in a hot car or they will ruin.
