Bought my car this way and on my key ring-it has the official Chrysler emblem that says UNLOCK/LOCK -but the unlock button makes the driver door open when you push it and the lock button is SUPPOSED to open the passenger side door---The problem is that they only work when THEY want to work and at times I am actually trapped inside my car as the inside door handles don't work and I push a button UP for open the driver door and DOWN for opening the passenger door...I really need any help with this....is there a short somewhere?? and why, after I keep pushing these buttons after 10minutes, the door finally opens!!!!???

i was runnning 65mph in the freeway when the car in front of me suddenly braked. i hit the brakes but my car skid and rear ended the other car. my engine is seriously damaged. the hood, both fenders are dented. fluids leaked from all over. the radiator got smashed. my windshield is damaged too. the adjuster said its gonna cost around $8000 to fix it. i was injured because of the whip effect in my neck and the press on my chest from the seatbelt. i was taken to the ER after accident. its been 3 weeks now and i still cant go back to my work.

There aren't too many 1976 models left on the roads. The closest I ever had to that was a 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass. It was my first car. Of course, I wrecked it. I loved that old battering ram.

I'm likely to take a trip from central Kentucky to San Antonio or Houston over the New Year season. No matter which city I choose, it will still be approximately 1200 miles each way, not counting the miles I drive once I'm at my destination.

My car (Dodge) has 207,000 miles currently, and at the rate I drive it, it will probably have 220,000 miles by year's end. My car is in GREAT mechanical condition, I've taken very good care of it, and I have a great mechanic. Original engine, still gets good gas mileage, and thankfully the only thing unoriginal are the brake pads!

I'm not your stereotypical "poor Kentuckian." In fact, I come from an upper middle-class home. I'm just really cheap!

It's more economical just to take my car rather than rent one. What would you recommend, and why?

Thanks!

I'm a BIG fan of both, I only have about 20,000 CASH to spend on one or the other. I'm driving myself up the wall, I know everyone has their own preference. Just need some people's pro's and con's on each car. Hopefully someone that owns one of the cars. Thanks

Because a larger wheel at the same RPM would theoretically travel farther than a smaller wheel, unless engine the bigger wheel makes the engine work more. Does anyone have a better explanation or concrete evidence?

If you're on a freeway, going uphill, is it better to downshift? Even if you're going like 60 or 70 mph, where your gear is usually in the highest gear? Or maybe I heard you're supposed to downshift when going downhill?

I thought I'd heard that you should or it was better for your car, but I wasn't sure. I tried shifting down to fourth gear while going uphill at like 60 mph today. How low a gear do people go when going uphill (or downhill, if you do that)?
